Sharks are often a source of fear, especially when the Jaws theme is playing in your mind. But sharks are more than the perfect predator. They are curious, they are level-headed, and they adapt. A shark is a creature to learn from. It can teach many life lessons to those willing to learn.

Keep Moving Forward

Sharks always move forward. Life is full of choices and opportunities. Sharks teach us to keep moving forward and stop waiting for things to come to us. Move forward and never look back. Don’t regret your choices. Make the best of what’s in front of you.

Courage

Sharks are symbols of fearlessness. They remind us not to dwell on our weaknesses. A shark cannot swim in reverse, but it makes up for this “weakness” by being agile and fast. It also means once a shark has committed to a course, there is no going back, so, be like a shark. Turn your fear into courage and keep going.

No Regrets

A shark never has regrets. It makes its decision and never wonders What if…?. It puts regret and remorse aside and relies on itself to make a good decision. If the decision turns into a disaster, the shark doesn’t worry about it. It maneuvers and swims through the wreckage until it can make a better choice. Apply this to your life and don’t dwell…
